During the periods when Galleri Killgissa does not organize its own exhibitions in collaboration with artists, there is an opportunity for those interested to rent the gallery. The gallery will then primarily be rented out to artists who want to arrange and curate their exhibitions themselves, but other expressions of interest will also be taken into account.
Galleri Killgissa is located on Hornsgatspuckeln (Hornsgatan, Stockholm). Stråket is perhaps Stockholm's gallery densest and, not least on weekends, a mecca for art lovers who make the pilgrimage here to visit the galleries. The vernissages are always well attended.
The gallery's floor area measures approx. 33 square meters (the gallery part itself), has a ceiling height of three meters and offers a full 19 meters of white wall on which to hang paintings. Facing the pavement, there are two large display windows (1.30 x 2.25 m) which allow a lovely light in and excellent opportunities for signage. In addition, there is a solid spotlight system in the ceiling that can be directed at will towards works of art on display. The gallery is furnished with a large rustic but elegant wooden table (2.7 x 1 m) with eight accompanying chairs to be used as desired. As a complement, there are four folding tables that are often used for exhibitions of sculptures etc. There are also street speakers for posters to borrow. In the premises there is also a toilet, a kitchenette and some storage space.
Prices vary according to season and how long you wish to rent the gallery. The gallery also offers ancillary services such as
