Wendimagegn Belete

(b. 1986 Addis Ababa, Ethiopia) MFA Academy of Fine Arts, University of Tromsø 2017. The works are taken from a series created by twisting, extending, dissecting and putting together own experiences with symbols from the visual language of Ethiopia’s indigenous peoples. Through improvisation and changes, artists want to create a canvas that serves as a visual field for the viewer.
