A contemporary painting exhibition "The same way of seeing / thinking" (part three) will open at the Meno Parkas Gallery (Rotušės a. 27, Kaunas).

“The same way of seeing/thinking“ (part three) is a continuation of an ongoing project / exhibition, which, of course, shares the same denominator of painting. But is it (not) required to be a painter or an artist, so that art is your way of seeing/thinking? Most commonly, as those painters see in their own ways anyway. Yes, an individual style in painting is a natural result of a long process. To discover, to communicate with like-minded people, who see, think and feel similar to you – is probably relevant to every artist, in this case the exhibition is a way of communication (of art).

This time the authors have been selected based on how their painting/creative works stand out in the context of this exhibition. All these artists have a unique expression of art aesthetics. Different surfaces, different ways to approach the artwork, different painting plastics, different stories about painting. Ten authors and two-story exposition space of the gallery.

The idea of such a project/exhibition has come to Andrius Zakarauskas and Povilas Ramanauskas, who were working in adjacent studios in “Juzė” (“Kauno buities namai”, “Kaunas household home”). “The same way of seeing/thinking” which has connected local like-minded people, started in 2014 in a gallery “101” in Kaunas. Later, in 2015, the same exposition with larger composition was presented in “DSG” gallery in Vilnius.
