Shared Habitats

Together with Weimar University Bauhaus we are organising an immersive project, where artists present scientific experiments as artworks and analyse them in a cultural context. In order to do so they employ various contemporary technologies: VR, social media, video games and scientific research.

The projects consists of the artworks, DIWO experiments and the international conference. The project focuses on the situatedness of organisms in their environment and explores interactions among humans in their habitat, between humans and non-human species as well as between living beings and machines. To develop new ways of understanding the exhibition proposes continuous, evolving feedback processes between the respective agents. It looks for the expansion of seeing, thinking and acting.
