In this series the artist explores various philosophical and social concepts, as well as human relationships with the environment, daily life, nature and culture.

In the new exhibition, named “Fragments”, various daily objects, cultural artefacts and natural elements are brought into an architectonic space, filled with visual and semantic narrative. The exhibition refers greatly to memories, dreams and the subconscious – both individual and collective. It is also build around the dialectics between the organic and industrial, nature and civilisation, death and life.

Andrius Erminas (b. 1971) is a sculptor and conceptual artist who lives and works in Vilnius.

The exhibition was made possible with the support of the Culture Ministry of Lithuania, Lithuanian Culture Council and Lithuanian Artists’ Association.
