NOBA Nordic Baltic contemporary art platform

The 2020 Spring Exhibition continues in the art fair display format begun in 2017, which focuses on presenting artists individually and which has proved to be very successful. The precedent set in 2018 where art collectors and philantropists contribute financially towards a People’s Choice Award increases interest among artists and also the general public, who are able to vote for their favourite work. One of the exhibitions to be held in the Tallinn Art Hall, Art Hall Gallery and Tallinn City Gallery will be a curated show, one that expresses both curatorial vision and interpretation of the current art scene. The large number of visitors to the exhibition, with its approximately one hundred participants, the People’s Choice Award and the opportunity to buy artworks has, in the relatively short period of the art fair format, been successful in strengthening trust between art and the public. The winner of the 2018 People’s Choice Award was printmaker and painter Toomas Kuusing and in 2019 the painter Sirje Petersen.

The Spring Exhibition is accompanied by a catalogue produced by the Estonian Artists Association.
