Back to the Future

On Friday, December 13, at 6 p.m., Meno Niša invites everybody to the opening of the group exhibition of drawings and paintings on paper, titled Back to the Future. The exhibition will be on until 10 January.

Participants of the exhibition include National Prize winners, painters Rūta Katiliūtė and Gintaras Makarevičius who will present their paintings on paper, Evaldas Jansas with his collages, Monika Furmana and Monika Plentauskaitė with their watercolours, Jolanta Kyzikaitė presenting her painting on veneer, Jurgis Tarabilda, Gustas Jagminas, Konstantinas Gaitanži, Paulius Šliaupa and Kęstutis Svirnelis presenting their works on paper done using various techniques, from coloured pencils, ballpoint pens, acrylic to oil painting.

The Back to the Future exhibition is part of the gallery’s project Art Space for Young Artists. The project is co-funded by the Lithuanian Council for Culture. The gallery is sponsored by Vilnius City Municipality.
