The name of the artwork is after the colour shade I’ve used for the background – I really like it and I love the combination of it with yellow and pink. But the idea of such dog portrait came from my friend Olga – a dog momma of adopted pet Stephen (or Stepan, in Russian) who’s just an incredible couple! Olga works for a gardening department of a supermarket in Tallinn and Stephen is a very thoughtful pet, who is kind, grateful and gentle. He’s the one to notice evening lights when they suddenly go on in the evening parks where they go for a walk with Olga, he’s the one to listen to the sea waves – in one word a bit of a philosopher who did have a rough start in life, but now lives a very creative and happy life.
