The work depicts one of Viljandi’s most important landmarks – Trepimägi (Stairway Hill). Guriev, an architect born in Viljandi, is one of the authors of the project. The piece was created to raise donations for the construction of the stairway hill, where people could symbolically “buy” a single step and thus make their contribution. The work was given as a gift to major supporters. The new Trepimägi was opened in 2025, renewing the historic connection between the town and the lake.
