Gikleeprint happevabal paberil

The work is based on a personal experience of being hurt and the transformation that followed. The work does not focus on depicting suffering, but on the process in which a painful experience can transform into something new over time. The wound may heal, but the scar remains — not just as a trace, but as part of an experience that can develop into greater understanding, inner strength and peace. Scarring also leaves room for the viewer’s personal interpretation. Everyone can recognize in the work their own experience, loss, change or a moment from which something new and bright has come. The work has participated in the solo exhibition “Eye” at Pallas Gallery in Tartu and the joint exhibition of Umbra artists “Silent Metamorphoses” at Tampere House Gallery, Tartu and at the joint exhibition of Jõgeva artists “Trace” at the pArt gallery in Põltsamaa Each print has a small white border in addition to the main image size to facilitate framing.
