Risky Choices. Examples from the Performance Art, 2016
Installation/performance
The artist about his works:
My MA project “Risky Choices. Examples from the Performance Art” delves into the questions: Why performance artists often do things which are weird and not understandable to the others? Why they take huge risks to injure themselves in situations where most of the other people would step back, but they make a step further?
What could be the philosophy behind that choice? How working process usually looks like? What is dangerous and what is not so dangerous? And how to give impression which needs a lot of physical durability? How to prepare yourself for that kind of things?
To get answers for these questions, I did three long interviews with different artists and in the practical work, I was testing myself to summarize the process which I went through.
