Burnt plywood
This artwork has been made using birch plywood and a primary element – fire. This unique burning technique has been experimentally developed by the artist and practised for more than four years. This work reflects on the sense of the core, the feeling of going inwards into a self-center, gathering power from the origins. It is a reminder of the inner strength, a shelter when everything else around might be collapsing. This work has taken part in exhibitions in Lisbon, Portugal, such as one of the biggest autumn art events – Lisbon Art Weekend.
