I did not know what to make of this picture while I was drawing it. I just drew. I thought that this picture would not work, but I still tried. Automatically. Afterwards when the picture started to draw itself, I did understand what I wanted to say with it. I have had a friend who has left this world. This picture is dedicated to this friend. I cannot talk about it very much, but this picture possibly depicts a heart as well as a friendship in its complexity. Here also lie the grinning teeth, a lot of eyes and an emergency trumpet. Here are some ugly faces too. But mainly I have depicted here the purity of a heart of this person. We must keep the ones we still do have is the message of this picture.
