Aerosol & stencil on steel plate. The work was exhibited in Edward von Lõnguse’s exhibition “Doomsday Cathedral” and is one of the kind made on steel plate.
The work appeared first in Athens, Greece in 2016, at a time when Greece was in a deep economic crisis.
The work combines a duo with „Kapitalismos” (also available smaller version on canvas) and is composed of an ancient Greek sculpture and a display mannequin, combines the democratic values of the old world with the capitalist ideology of the modern world. Each has its shortcomings – democracy has no hands and capitalism has no head.
