Oil on canvas
This painting is a part of creative project called “Infinite“ which explores and clarifies the concept of beginning and the end. Presented artwork speaks of a human inability to fully understand the phenomena of space and time. Here comes the mystery of future and hidden reality. White canvas (snow) becomes an illusion to the image that will appear in the future. This condition brings a lot of questions and uncertainty. So, observer himself begins to create and fill an empty area in his imagination. Unpainted part of the canvas is a hidden past, present and future. This is a direct reference to the impression of eternity in which beginning or end cannot be clearly identified.
