Vegetable-tanned leather sculpture, initially inspired by 20th-century Estonian wrestling photographs, where intimacy intertwines with restraint. The form derives from historical fireplace screens, whose utilitarian function has been removed and transformed into an abstract four-legged figure.
The work explores corporeality and the memory of materials. Leather records touch and time, while the form oscillates between the human and the animal.
