Painting “GOD WITHIN: BECOMING CONSCIOUS” consists of three different fragments, which together create a single complete concept. In the lower part of the painting, I refer to the subconscious and the psychological shadow of a person. In the middle part, I draw attention to personality development and introspection, which I convey by scraping off several layers of paint from the plywood. The process can be seen in the documentation video. For me, it is like an alchemical journey that symbolizes gaining freedom from the influences and expectations created by society and reaching the very essence of oneself. The upper part of the painting reflects the divine side in all of us.
