Cursed be the glare of apparition That on the finer sense intrudes! (Faust, J. W. Goethe) Every person sees, hears and thinks different. This is authors interpretation of the essence of black metal music. How do you understand it? Source of inspiration – mechanical systems and black metal music. The contrast between the clichéd opinions and author’s interest. A free-standing, kinetic object with a simple frontal plane and a constructive, mechanically saturated rear side. A simple form is cyclically broken down and rearranged while submerged in metal music. The work is currently (12.06.2024.) in exhibition of the graduates’ diploma works of The Art Academy of Latvia (06.06.-14.07.).
