The sticky cocoa body of the child is glued to the chocolate frame, together he and his parents recreate the lost mythical story about the melted Mayan civilization. Their still bodies are inlaid in the red primordial landscape of America as artificially as they are in our during present. Rather, the child’s infused gaze makes us ask: doesn’t our own being become soluble in search of its own reflection on the glossy surface of chocolate? A reflection of people who stayed to live in a museum of images, layouts and stuffed animals.
