Taisija Kalinina 2014 graduated from the Visaginas Art School “Atspindys” in 2016. She has been studying at the Vilnius Academy of Arts in the Bachelor’s program in Textile Art and Design since 2016. In 2018-2019 she did an internship at the Visaginas Creative House, where she currently works as an art teacher. Participated in several international exhibitions of contemporary textile art: What if? … (Lithuania, Norway), TOUCH (Lithuania, Estonia, Ireland), Social Business Ideas Competition and Social Art Project Exhibition Let’s be together, let’s create together in Vilnius City Municipality. The main inspiration of the young creator is popular culture and bright colors. In her work, the author combines various textile techniques, experimenting by combining them with a realistic and stylized drawing. In the creative process, he experiments a lot in search of his own visual expression.
