Sasha Tishkov

Sasha Tishkov (1989) is a visual artist and woodworker whose practice focuses
on the dynamics between peripheries and centres. His sculptural objects and
installations explore environmental and human phenomena. Working with natural
materials and traditional craft techniques such as woodworking and weaving,
he draws on an interest in craftsmanship that began during his childhood in
Matsalu National Park. Tishkov received his Master’s degree from Central Saint
Martins in London (2019) and works both in Estonia and internationally. He is
a member of the Estonian Artists’ Association.
