Maria Hommik Emerging artist

Maria Hommik

Artist's country of origin: Estonia

Maria Hommik, with artist name Marmiamum, is artist-musician born in Võrumaa, living in Tartu. At the moment, she enjoys painting with Chinese ink to which she devoted herself in her final year at Pallas University of Applied Sciences. Her next artistic aim is to include self-made paints that are both health and nature friendly. That way, making art is good for material world as well as the mind. She sees creation as a good way to share a unique perspective, her soul’s nature. All the life’s mystery, questions, and those rare answers find a place in her art and music. Marmiamum’s working method is largely intuitive, improvisational, spontaneous.
