Kseniya Khamiankova ^{Emerging artist}

Artist's country of origin: Lithuania

I graduated 3 years out of 6 at the Belarusian State Academy of Arts with a degree in Theater and Decorative Painting. During this time I was able to participate in the Prague Quadrennial in 2019 in a team of students from Belarus. From 2021 to the present time I have been studying at the Vilnius Academy of Arts at the Scenography department. During this time I was able to participate in an exhibition at Panemune Castle (following the results of summer plein air practice), in a workshop on the topic of streaming at the Art Colony in Nida, in a workshop on creating animation, in an exhibition in the Puppet Theater in Kaunas. Working as part of workshops on streaming and animation creation allowed me to dive deeper into modern digital technologies and multimedia aspects of scenography.

My trip to the Czech Republic for the Prague Quadrenalle in 2023 confirmed my professional aspirations and desire to be actively involved in international projects. This trip motivates me, four years later, to be part of a major Lithuanian project in the field of scenography.

I finished my graduation project which I presented together with my colleagues at the Theater and Cinema Museum in Vilnius.
