Jo Kjaergaard

Artist's country of origin: Finland

Jo Kjaergaard is and artist graduating from the University of arts in Helsinki. She works primarily with sound installation, language and community projects. She strives to supkement her art education with studies of language, physics and math which can help broaden the definition of what art can do. She always collaborates with her works, in order to learn, develop and stay connected.


2019 she participated in internship in Danish Culture center Beijing. finishing level 4 HSK(Chinese language proficiency), Beijing, China“; The Carpet Performance” Filmverkstatt ,Vaasa, Finland; “How we keep the Chaos” exhibition ACUD macht neu, Berlin Germany.


2018 Jo was part of Potential Difference Experimental music performance, Asbestos Gallery,Helsinki; MuTe fest, Musikiitalo Helsinki composition multichannel Dome; Shipwreck Information Center, Brinkala gallery, Turku old townhall, Turku, Finland.
