Eve Kruuse
Artist's country of origin: Estonia
Kruuse (b. 1959) considers art to be visual poetry, but poetry is not only about the beautiful and the good. According to Kruuse, it is important to notice small things, details that, with their great influence, are no longer small things. In his paintings, Kruuse deals with the relationship of an individual with society, with nature, with another person, with the destructive behavior of a person with respect to nature, that is, with himself. The artist invites you not to storm, not to wander through life like a yellowing leaf. He mainly paints with oil and acrylic paints on canvas, some works are also done on decades-old wood. Then wood is next to him as another creator. Recently, he has been experimenting by combining his own photographs with acrylic.
