Atis Izands (1986) is a graduate of the MA Painting programme of Art Academy of Latvia. Participates in group exhibitions in Latvia since 2008. Atis was one of the Latvian representatives in international art biennale Jeune Création Européenne (2015). Has had 2 solo shows in Latvia. In his creative work, artist is expanding the space of painting media outside the canvas frame, leaning towards sculpture and installation.
