Anu Muiste

Anu Muiste (b. 1984) holds a Master’s degree in Design from the Estonian Academy of Arts and a Master’s degree in Social Sciences from Tallinn University. She is an active member of the Estonian Painters’ Association. Her background in psychology, design, and social sciences is also reflected in her artistic practice, through which she explores the relationships between individuals and society as well as different levels of existence. Muiste’s works are introspective, visually ambiguous, and conceptually layered, inviting viewers to perceive the world through organic forms and surrealism.
