Alissa Nirgi ^{Emerging artist}

Artist's country of origin: Estonia

Alissa Nirgi (born 1993) is a photo and video artist who lives and works in Tallinn. She is currently finishing her final year of Bachelor´s studies at the Estonain Academy of Arts in the field of photography. Nirgi´s first personal exhibition “A New Land Behind My Window” in EKA Gallery took place in 2015 and travelled to Helsinki, Kallio Gallery afterwards. The same project will be shown in the Riga Photographic Biennale in April 2016.

In 2015, Alissa Nirgi was awarded the Eduard Wiiralt prize. She is currently preparing for a group exhibition in Haapsalu.
