On December 21, 2025, Lennart Olson would have turned 100. Halland Art Museum is marking this with an extensive presentation of his works from the museum's collection. The exhibition focuses on Lennart Olson as an artist, his sense of form, light and shadow, and shows how these qualities characterize both his working methods and pictorial compositions.

Lennart Olson (1925–2010), born in Gothenburg and later living in Steninge, was a freelance photographer with both artistic and documentary focus. As a member of the photography collective Tio fotografer , formed in 1958, he became a central figure in Swedish photography and also created around fifty television films. Olson is particularly known for his graphic photographs of bridges, but also worked with portraits and reportage images. He is one of the few Swedish photographers represented in the collection of the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York.
