MultiWeave is a way of building textile structures. This kind of weaving gets inspiration from 3D printing: weft yarns are guided layer by layer around and between rows of temporarily supported warp threads. MultiWeave method offers to the resourceful explorer and experimenter opportunities to create a wide variety of 3-dimensional surfaces and objects. Each author is here in the role of a developer, adding new work methods or their own.
MultiWeave was invented by Kadi Pajupuu and it has been developed during the applied research project of Pallas University of Applied Sciences (Tartu, Estonia).
Marilyn Piirsalu (1981) is a visual artist who works with graphic techniques and textile. Her works are often installations and videos that get inspiration from the way a textile is made. Author investigates the processes that create lines, structures and forms and her textiles remind of architectural forms.

Kadi Pajupuu (1963) professor at Pallas UAS is an inventor and textile artist. Her inspiration comes from questioning traditions. Kadi Pajupuu has invented textile tools that enable new ways of creating textiles with manipulating warp (RailReed) or combining peg weaving with the concept of 3D printing. Her sculptural works remind of organic forms.
