With the close-up of the works, attention is drawn to the often seemingly irrelevant details of the pictures. The exhibition is built on the connections that arise between these details, between newer and older works realized in different media. The juxtapositions expose the works to new ways of looking at them. Different pairs of opposites and opposites open up possibilities for new interpretations.
The meanings created once by the viewer will also perhaps change during the exhibition, when some of the sensitive paper-based works will be replaced in May.
The exhibition features 40 works by 31 artists. There are 11 of these works or sets of works that can be exchanged.
