The artists Sverre Gullesen and Ole Martin Lund Bø have both changed their work from a conceptually based practice to a more intuitive and emotionally grounded method. The idioms of both can remind each other. Although Gullesen works with sculpture in concrete and Lund Bø with paint on canvas, both create abstract and unifying formations in relatively light tones. The compositions are often composed abstract forms with a concluding character that suggests a figuration. It seems that there is a figurative motif, but the most recognizable parts are missing. The logic is always present, but is broken, and the whole thus becomes a visual language with a further, more open reading.
