Cultivating the garden of the mind, are thoughts sending tendrils of ideas into what we perceive as reality. Thoughts that create a world that is unique in the mind of the beholder. Ideas that by the very transformation create a belonging and a widening of the boundaries; suddenly we share a world. We – you and I – meet in the borderlands between fantasy and reality where perspectives change and ideas are born. Where new gardens are created, where pools of silence and contemplation may be found – but also where hints of the minds darker corners can be glimpsed, in the silent conflict that the need for light, air, water create within the limited space of a canvas.
