Chinese Forest Meditations - Liu LIfen

Liu Lifen comes from Kunming in southwest China and is educated at the Yunnan Art Institute. There she studied, among other things, traditional Chinese painting techniques. Liu Lifen's paintings have an external lightness in the thin brush strokes with transparent fields and an internal depth with emotional moods that convey the difficult and hurtful but also a curiosity and longing.
