Jesper Thour - We taught the fire to burn

Jesper Thour was born in 1993 in Växjö and works mainly with painting and installation. In 2021, he took his master's degree at Konstfack in Stockholm. He has since participated in several exhibitions in Sweden and received the Erland Kullberg scholarship in 2022. In his art, Thour examines humans relationships to each other and nature. He digs into thoughts about group belonging, the image of masculinity and the desire to fit into different contexts.
