Torbjörn Länk - måleri

Image comes out of image, behind each image hides other images, visual memories in a winding long chain of associations. The basic material in my paintings are my own photos of unknown people, photographed in streets and squares. I build a room, a place, a new context for the involuntary model, try to highlight the anonymous person and give it, albeit hidden, a place in art history.
