Anatomy of a satellite is a collage-based exhibition that explores intergenerational telepathy, the hauntology of the commodity of childhood, and the structures of storytelling.
Through oscillating between satire and sentimentality, it explores the fabric of affects, contact and connection, and the internal polyphonies of the mind in constant movement between the past, the present, and the future.
Using text as a central device in the multi-media works, Anatomy of a Satellite combines articulation with symbolism and affective ambiguity. Through hyperbole, maximalism, and slight information overload, the exhibition aims to interact with the viewers intuition: what thoughts and feelings do we pick up from an abundance; what sticks and why?
