ANDERS ZORN SCHWEDENS SUPERSTAR

Anders Zorn, Mitternacht, 1891. The exhibition features 150 works, including well-known paintings and watercolours that are rarely shown, as well as etchings and sculptures. The Swedish artist visited Hamburg in the winter of 1891–92 at the invitation of the director of the Hamburger Kunsthalle, Alfred Lichtwark, and created several atmospheric views of the harbor, which are also included in the exhibition.
