Leif Elggren is usually called Sweden's most famous underground artist. In Tierp, he has previously been seen in the Persbo sculpture park in Månkarbo with the sculpture Dormitory for the Dead (extended) ( 2021). In the exhibition, painting with only black and yellow colors is shown. The sharp opposition between yellow and black dissolves and new colors and shades are created.

Leif Elggren (b. 1950) is active as a writer, visual artist, publisher, performance artist and composer. Based in Stockholm. Educated at the Royal Academy of Arts. In his work, he moves between dreams and subtle absurdities such as turning social hierarchies upside down. His work often includes royal crowns, emblematic symbols of power, viruses, infectious diseases, furniture and the combination of yellow and black.
