In this summer's major exhibition Lightness of Being, photographs from the entire span of Peter Lindbergh's extensive career are shown for the first time in Sweden. With a unique look and extraordinary aesthetic sharpness, German Peter Lindbergh (1944-2019) became one of the world's leading fashion photographers.

Most people recognize his iconic 90s portraits of supermodels such as Naomi Campbell, Cindy Crawford and Kate Moss and actors such as Kate Winslet, Uma Thurman, Mick Jagger and Alicia Vikander , and his unique visual language has come to characterize generations of photographers, designers and other creators. The exhibition at Fotografiska is done in close collaboration with the Lindbergh Foundation, which is led by his son Benjamin Lindbergh.
