The photographs in the exhibition reflect the head of state’s official duties as well as the continuity that the King represents in his role as the longest-reigning monarch in Sweden’s history.
The photo exhibition pays attention to the 50 years that the King has worked for Sweden as head of state. Here you can see official portraits mixed with snapshots from the many missions and engagements the King has. Like the King's election language, "For Sweden - in time", the photographs also portray Sweden over five decades. The images reflect the continuity that the King represents in his role as the longest-reigning monarch in Sweden's history.
