“The Course of Nature” is a project that moves in the not-too-distant future. A time when we have to live with nature on its terms. Although humans have always tried to influence nature, it is beyond our control. We live on a planet with clear wounds from man, but we don’t know how deep they are. This photo series also connects to Ann’s previous series “Two sides to a story”. A family story about how her mother and grandmother separated over 60 years ago. Through “A Course of Nature” the thoughts wander instead to the growing up environment. Where you end up shapes you. With family members as models, conscious choices between sharpness and blur and digital processing, Ann conveys her message.
