Alexander Wessely's work has been shown in over 20 countries, from the Royal Dramatic Theater in Stockholm to Madison Square Garden in New York and as the main act at the Coachella festival in California. His unique range of artist collaborations also includes composer Jacob Mühlrad, choreographer Alexander Ekman and artists such as The Weeknd, Swedish House Mafia, Drake and Rihanna.
– With Kortex, we want our guests to be completely surrounded by Wessely’s universe and absorbed by his creation, where visual expressions bounce against an evocative soundscape. The exhibition consists of everything from unique 3D technology to marble sculptures and Wessely opens up for reflection and reflection through his works. With this exhibition, he challenges us to question our own beliefs and take on a different view of the phenomenon of idol worship, says Mohamed Mire, exhibition producer at Fotografiska Stockholm.
