Elisa Rovamo's study has been crowded. During the pandemic, it has been
like a hiding place for the artist, where the characters in the paintings have kept up - and without safety gaps.
The character is often alone, sometimes in pairs, but always the language of the body expresses and tells the story: small gestures, hidden emotions, and wordless messages speak.

The paintings in the exhibition are psychologically charged and reflect on what happens in a person’s mind in loneliness and encounters.
They provide opportunities for identification at a time when the psyche and interpersonal relationships are being tested in many ways.
