Tea Lemberpuu is an artist whose recent studies in the Master’s program in Contemporary Art have led her to notice and seek answers right “under her nose.” She has found that many of the essential questions reside within herself, and mapping her own actions during these studies has reconciled her with the blurred boundaries between life and art. From this understanding, she has uncovered starting points for new directions in her practice.

Lemberpuu admits that her traditional studio practice is increasingly giving way to an everyday practice — one that unfolds not only in the studio or darkroom, but also while trainlooping, lying in the kitchen, or engaging in dialogues with others across undefined times and spaces. She is interested in exploring the power of micro changes and the effects of accumulating selected (or even spontaneous) repetitions within her artistic work.
