Diffraction film, furniture panelsl, beam light.

The “White Hole”, in the context of the project “Travel Agency”, explores and reinterprets popular time travel concepts such as black and white holes, wormholes, gravitational time dilation, cosmic strings, closed time-like curves, tachyons, and time machines. Black holes have infinite gravity and consume everything around them—matter, information, even light. But where does it all go? One theory suggests it might be expelled through a reversed counterpart: a white hole. Since we don’t truly know what lies inside black holes, they remain a potential gateway through time and space. If this were true—and if immense gravity wouldn’t stretch us into “spaghetti”—it could offer a form of one-way travel: what’s ejected from a white hole cannot return, pushed away by its outward force. We now have visual evidence of black holes—dark centers twisting light, bounded by the event horizon, from which nothing escapes. White holes, by contrast, remain hypothetical: dazzling cosmic objects that emit light and matter, but have never been observed. This gives freedom to imagine and simulate their appearance. Could the light around them refract instead of bend? Whether we want to or not, a question arises: what is the Travel Agency doing in the context of this project? Since the white hole plays a simulated portal role in the exhibition, it is positioned as a welcoming point for travelers arriving from other time periods, from alternative histories — ensuring safe passage through time, space, and across timelines.
