Playful, yet controlling. Intimate, yet painful. The work explores a moment where care scratches the surface, and closeness begins to test its limits. It captures a gesture that binds tenderness and violence into a single bodily act, a silent, unsettling bite. Who participates, and who endures? Where does gentleness end and force begin? How does touch lose its innocence and when does affection start to press too hard? This piece searches for the fragile border between connection and dominance, between desire and discomfort. It’s about the duality of intimacy, how it can both hold and hurt. The work was exhibited at the Estonian Academy of Arts graduation show “Tase”.
