With the work; Translucent, they danced… And become the burning stars, Blind seeks to open a dialogue on the shamanic perspective, and how the Western society, historically and ongoing, has a leading role in the suppression of a living pathway that is healthy for both the body and soul. Through large-scale charcoal drawings, Blind engages in rhythmic mark-making to enter a specific interval and state, in which the work itself becomes both map and compass.
