The motive of the painting is inspired by a beloved dress from youth. The fabric falls and ripples, creating depth and offering different dimensions — much like memories. The horizon, into which one can sink their gaze yet never truly arrive, evokes distant memories. The horizon may also be compared to a stage: a world that exists on and beyond the horizon line. Yet the present moment and real life remain here.
