Soft Collapse, 2026

100 x 200 cm
€3080

Charcoal on canvas, touchpad, tv

Soft Collapse is an interactive digital installation that explores memory as a constantly shifting and reconstructive process. As viewers navigate the digital environment, fragments of memory gradually emerge, become more defined, and eventually collapse back into the landscape. Combining a real-time digital environment, spatial sound, and large-scale charcoal drawings, the work creates an immersive experience in which memory is revealed as fragmented, impermanent, and deeply connected to human presence. The work was exhibited in the exhibition Reset Factory Settings at the Riga Contemporary Art Space.
